Everyone loves choice! I'm requesting flexible seating options for my Sophomores to enjoy in their English classroom because I believe that students learn best when they feel comfortable and have power over their learning environment. Flexible seating will allow my students to engage in learning in a space that feels like their own. In order to make my English classroom the most comfortable, inviting, and FUN room in the school, I have requested several flexible seating basics - a futon, beanbag chairs, a dining table set, clipboards, and a colorful rug. Students will have the autonomy they crave when it comes to their classroom environment while also having a functional and fun space to call their own.
