My students need many things to make learning fun and to make the school day more effective and efficient. I returned to teaching this year after trying a different career for 4 years. I realized that teaching is my passion. I started the year with just some donations from other teachers and what I've purchased myself. Many of my students did not bring any supplies and I have had to supplement. My first grade classroom and students need a wide array of different materials. I feel all students can learn, just in different ways and different days. When one things doesn't work, we try something different. The materials provided by the school and district are not enough to keep them engaged and help students love to be in school and love learning. There is a wide array of items in my cart. I'm excited to make good use of them. My students and I are so appreciative of any donation. Thank you!
