My S.T.E.M. class is formed by a diverse group of students in grades K through 5th, ranging from ages 5 to 11 years old in North Carolina. This is a year-round school located in an urban area. We serve over 1,000 students and offer curriculum support to 46 homeroom teachers. The main purpose of this program is to get students connected and interested in science, math, technology, and engineering concepts. We are working to improve students academic performance by developing critical thinking skills, exploring creativity, and learning to collaborate within our learning teams. Our students are very creative and eager to learn and grow academically.
