My classroom is filled with wonderful students who are struggling readers in grades 4-6 who need severe academic intervention services. These students have autism, and others have varying degrees of emotional disturbances and/or behavioral and social disabilities. It is very important for me to create a calm and comfortable environment for these students so that they can focus on the material that is being taught to them. They are eager to learn, they are full of life, and make my day brighter because every day is challenging and different for me, and for them!

About my class
