My school district has provided access to iReady and Achieve3000 this year to all of our K-8 students. Both of these internet based programs are tailored to each students' individual learning readiness level through diagnostic testing and provide supplemental instruction in important areas from mathematics to literacy. The environment is set up almost like a game so they don't feel pressured which helps them not to "shut down" when they are being challenged. Students are required to spend at least forty-five minutes in both the math and reading areas of iReady every week but they are encouraged to work in them for even more time. Unfortunately, my students will not be able to use this program as fully as the general education students due to our current lack of technological access. Please help me make their learning easier by providing them the necessary tools to succeed.
