My students are a diverse group of children whose families value the opportunity to learn in two languages. Many students speak Spanish at home and are in the Dual Language program to be able to further their academic Spanish and English development. Other students speak English at home and are learning Spanish through the content areas of Math and Science. Other students speak Amharic or Arabic at home and are learning two additional languages at school. The school in general is very diverse with many students from immigrant families and a variety of home languages represented. Last year 66% of student qualified for free/reduced lunch.
