I am requesting various basic school supplies to enhance the learning of my students who otherwise cannot afford these items. I am planning to use each of the supplies for learning in an in-person environment. I want to be able to supply the students with their own notebook that we will transform into a textbook over the course of the semester. My hope is for my students to learn strong organizational, writing, and study skills through building their own textbooks with basic school supplies. I will teach them the importance of chunking, highlighting, and separating information in an easy-to-comprehend way while allowing them to color-code and organize the information in their own creative way. With your help, students will be able to have a tangible book that they keep and also use to study at home.
