My 2nd grade students will use the fidgets, chair bands, and under the table pedal exercisers to support them through this transition from distance learning back to school in-person. These are concrete tools that help students cope with any anxiety they might feel about school or classwork and also meet young learners' needs for frequent movement. Students deserve an academically rigorous and culturally relevant education. Students will be able to learn more about their own identities and the myriad of identities that exist in the world by having access to books that represent people of color, people with disabilities, and people who persisted in the face of struggle and inequality.
