My goal for this project is to bring toys into the room that look like all the wonderful children and to bring in toys that help children experience nature. Being able to provide toys that look like all the children in the classroom would be a huge way to not only teach acceptance but also allowing all the children to see something more than a picture on the wall that represents them and their culture. By adding these dolls and the furniture to our doll house it will allow the children to play more intently, and allow them to have more engaging pretend play! The wood blocks would not only help the children who have a harder time gripping items but it would also allow them to experience other types of blocks and allow them to use their imagination to create new and exciting things!
