I am a third year teacher on the South-East side of Indianapolis. I recently transferred schools and switched from third to first grade. Over the past three years, I have had the amazing opportunity to get to know and teach so many great children! While I would never describe my job as easy, I could not picture myself doing anything else. My students are the reason for all that I do. They inspire me each day with their ability to put aside their differences and their backgrounds to work together and learn. They deal with so many unimaginable things outside of this building, I just want to be able to provide a safe and interactive learning environment where they can get the education they deserve and be provided the opportunity to succeed.

About my class
