iPads are devices that can be used to help children succeed in the classroom. My goal is for my students to be able to better their learning through the use of technology. These iPads can be used as instructional technology because students with disabilities can download apps that provide visual, auditory and tactile learning opportunities, but could also be used as learning tools. Many of my students have difficulty with their communication skills and motor skills. The use of iPads will help my students be able to communicate and participate in the class. My students would greatly benefit from using iPads in our classroom for researching topics, a reward when work has been completed, and also play a large role in group and whole class activities.
