These materials are part of Orff Music learning, which combines movement, performance, and drama to help in music education. Orff instruction is one of the primary methods of effective music education and is a staple in most school music curriculums. Our students don't have the essential instruments necessary to implement this instruction in our school. Purchasing these instruments will benefit the students by helping develop musical creativity and independence. Students will combine these instruments with recorders, triangles, woodblocks, other small percussion elements to create classroom performances. My students very much enjoy playing instruments, and it gets them motivated to learn in my class, but we just don't have many resources to provide them with playing opportunities.
