With these books, I can continue to contribute to a diverse, wide ranging, empathetic, and print rich classroom library. The classroom library is my students' favorite part of the classroom, and it's my favorite to share. A print rich environment encourages students to read, which not only contributes to their literacy skills, but also helps them learn about the world from the comfort of the classroom. With these new books, my students can expand their knowledge of the world and of life, through diverse stories, and graphic novels about different science topics that are sure to interest my students. In our ever changing, fast paced world, our children find themselves struggling to stay awake and still, but now, with flexible seating options like these, I can encourage my students to get out their wiggles, especially when it's shown to help them concentrate, work independently, and stay engaged with their learning. Students who can take some control over their learning are students who engage in their learning!
