Learning a new language is not easy, especially Mandarin Chinese. Since none of our students are Mandarin native speakers, it is essential to create an immersive learning environment in our classroom. With all of these additional supplies, our class can enjoy various types of fun activities and learn through playing. Chinese calligraphy sets will help our students practice their Hanzi writing in a fun and cultural immersive way! Colorful children books provide vivid visual input and improve students' reading skills. Traditional Chinese board game such as Mahjong allows students to enjoy first hand social experience in China as well as to practice their Hanzi reading fluency.
