Our school is making the change to project based learning and we are excited about it! These 21st century skills are inquiry based. They ask the students to work as as a team to search for answers. The students then develop an interpretation, product or presentation. My third grade students are eager to learn new science concepts. They are most engaged during these lessons. We are a large school with over 500 students, but we have very limited resources for our size. Most classes are matched with big and little buddies for various lessons and activities. My third grade students would be excited to share their electricity projects with the big sixth graders and teach them something new!
