Colorful handouts and manipulatives can really enhance my students' world of science. Black and white documents and manipulatives can sometimes prevent students from fully grasping content. Students analyze and interact with graphs consistently in my classroom, but with only being able to print in black and white, they oftentimes could not fully analyze the graph. For example, a double bar graph usually consists of two colors, and if the copy is in black students cannot distinguish between the two bars without assistance. Science can be a challenging subject to comprehend, but colorful handouts can serve as really great visual aids. This color printer will really help my students.
