My students are very interested in reading and becoming better writers. The have expressed to me that if they had more books that they were interested in, they would read more. It is my goal to motivate my students to learn and become independent readers. I believe that the books selected on this order will not only help them achieve that goal, but will also make them excited about reading and will help them retain the information they have read. The library we have in our classroom is outdated and the books my kids have are not ones the kids find interesting. Many of them do not have home computers and do not have any way to get to their public library. This would really benefit my students in so many ways.
