My students are very enthusiastic, but as Kindergartners they have loads of energy! I am requesting not only classroom materials such as the seat sacks, but outdoor balls that they can play with during recess. We do not have any access to outdoor equipment for the students to use during this time, so they struggle to find appropriate ways to release their energy. I am also requesting a large rug for our classroom circle time. At the moment, we only have one small area rug and only about 6-7 children can fit at one time so it is hard to keep their attention. One big rug would help us all to come together during whole group lessons!
