The phrase “Maslow before Bloom” suggests that, before students are mentally equipped to do the heavy lifting that comes with learning new things (Bloom), their Maslow needs must first be attended to. As a first-year teacher, my mission is and will continue to be to provide a safe, loving, and growth mindset culture for the students in our mini-society. Our classroom combines a kinesthetic play to learn environment while addressing their social and emotional needs. Basic human needs need to be addressed before learning can occur. I am committed to helping each of our young scholars reach their fullest potential! These resources will help support all of my students to accomplish their first-grade goals. My students are extremely deserving and we thank you for your choosing us!
