I will create PowerPoint presentations for my students to receive real world examples to better relate the content being taught to them. I will show various videos, with use of the district's WiFi, to increase the comprehension and understanding of an objective. I will also be able to create online labs and games for students to use for tutorials to reinforce topics previously taught. This project will provide a computer for my classroom. Technology grabs the attention of young adolescents and helps to differentiate instruction with the use of various colors, words, pictures, videos, and animations. To increase the engagement of a 21st century learner one must incorporate technology into their day-to-day lessons. Engagement leads to understanding, and understanding leads to student achievement. As an educator and a parent, student achievement is my number one goal.
