Greetings! Welcome to my Donors Choose webpage. For over 22-years the challenges and rewards as a facilitator and teacher in the NYC public school system for students with disabilities offered me the opportunity to solidify my foundation as a middle school service provider (grades 6-8) in self-contained classrooms. Currently, I continue in the capacity as a Special Education Teacher Support Service (SETSS) provider, and IEP-Teacher. In order to suture the rift between the diverse learning and teaching styles of pedagogues and students, I assist with both indirect and direct instruction, privately and in groups, in and out of the classroom. Using observations, conferencing, and evaluative tools, I adapt and modify instructional materials to meet the rigorous demands of learning in and out of the general education classroom.
