Teaching at a Title One school often requires me to provide school supplies and lab materials for my classroom out of pocket, forcing me to be extra creative when developing labs and activities for my classroom. I am very lucky to teach at a school that supports inquiry and project-based learning. Although there is full support and belief in those teaching practices, the finances are not always there to support classes that need so many supplies, such as a science lab.
