One teacher... Many hearts to touch and brains to teach. My school contains students grades K-8. The majority of the students on my caseload are in Kindergarten and first grade. They are all speech and language impaired along with other disorders including Autism, ADHD, Hearing Impaired, and Learning Disabled. My job and privilege is to give them the best opportunity to keep up with the rest of the world. The core curriculum emphasizes reading fluency and comprehension. Majority of my students have deficits in both areas of reading, but adore being read to or looking at story visuals.
