The materials I have requested will give my students the opportunity to choose a more flexible seating option that will allow for an increase in focus and concentration while learning. While research certainly indicates the benefits of flexible seating in classrooms, many if not all of my students have had an alternate work environment over the last two years or so due to the COIVD-19 pandemic - some of which, weren't the most ideal nor fit for learning. I want to bring the choice of comfort into my classroom to offer students the freedom to create a learning space that both supports their individual needs and also helps them do their very best work.
