Flexible seating will allow each of my students to work in a learning environment suitable to their own needs. In this project, I am requesting two markerboard tables that I will place at different heights with different seating options available. This seating arrangement has been a success in the fourth grade classroom this year! Movement is also key to creating a successful learning environment. To meet these needs, I also requested bouncy bands. Some students need a space to their own at a table in a classroom chair. Those chairs will be equipped with a bouncy band to keep their feet moving and their mind focused.
