I teach a Kindergarten class in a Title I school where our technology supply is minimal. The students in my school are very loving. We have a high population on free and reduced lunch with many minority sub groups. With today's growing technological society, I feel it is important to start in the beginning...KINDERGARTEN! In my class I try to capture my students attention by any and all means.It is crucial to make sure your engaged and having fun while learning and growing at the same time. A mimio board does just that.In this generation students attention spans are shortening. This is partially due to the fast pace of the world today. It is also due to video games and television. By having a mimio in the classroom it will will give students a chance to get up out of their seats and actively participate in the lesson. I have seen students working with interactive learning boards and they LOVE it!
