My students at times struggle with their reading abilities, and will become discouraged when they stumble on grade level texts. I want to inspire my students to love reading and provide them with leveled readers to build up their confidence with reading. With building confidence they can learn through other small group interventions and opportunities to select their own texts they can grow into fluent readers. Which is my overall goal for my 3rd grade students, but if I can just get them to become interested in reading that is a win for me too!
