My classroom is traditionally set up with four desks pushed together to create a table. I have five of these types of tables in my classroom. Along with two big long tables and one circle table. My students learn best when they have the option to pick where they want to complete their work around my room. Some of the students choose to work at their desks; others choose to work on the floor or at the other tables. When the students are given choices to work somewhere in the classroom they they are more focused and have more attention to detail in their learning; also they are less disruptive to their peers. My students are very wiggly. The products I have selected will help my students by giving them the additional seating options to make more effective learning choices. The stability yoga balls will give my students the option to sit at one of the low desks or the high tables while giving them a way to get some of their wiggles out. The yoga mats and blow up cushions will allow my students to sit on the floor with a clipboard or at one of the low desks and still give them some comfortable while working on the floor. My students would benefit from more options than solely using desk, table, and chairs.
