Our sixth grade classroom is in a small rural K-6 school. There are around 20-25 students per each classroom. Students here primarily come from farming families; however, some are brought to our school from our local town about 10 miles away. The school has been here since the 1950's, and I attended here as a child as well. We have many supportive parents that read and work with their children at home, but we lack a lot of the technology seen in newer schools. Our parent organization purchased one iPad per classroom this past year, and mine has been used almost every single day for math, language, or science.
