We, as teachers, want the students to be captains of their own learning. We have decided to put together a book club for the students to dissect the book, "A Wrinkle in Time." We want the students to connect with the book in a way that allows them to look at the characters and see everyday people. Through this project, students will be able to mirror the characters and find the attributes that make them special to the story. As captains of their own learning, students will be able to maneuver through the book and become experts in the book. This is with the intention of them taking their knowledge to other students and enrich their want to read and thirst to learn.
