This project will promote a greater learning environment. After going to school for education specialty and being exposed to an array of accommodations and seeing the benefits of these tables and arrangements. I’m certain the children in my class will benefit from these Kore stools and writing surfaces whether it’s for visual processing deficiencies, ADHD, traumatic stress or slow processing speeds. I can guarantee these desks and active seating will create positive learning experiences. It’s incredible how accommodating movements and fidgeting from learning hands to legs or body while actively learning, writing or typing. Believe it or not the ability to focus can be hindered by being (or telling any child) to sit at a desk with a still chair and piece of paper. Firsthand, I’ve seen a difference with the one interactive chair in my classroom they all have learned to take turns using.
