I love my students! I am an exceptional education teacher working at a title one school with a diverse student population. I serve students in first through fifth grade with various learning disabilities. Each day I spend time with the students helping them reach their goals. My students work hard, very hard. They come in frustrated and upset and my room is the place where they can feel safe. Many of my students struggle with reading and math and their present levels are well below grade level. My goal is to improve those scores to help them reach their full potential. These students work extra hard all day to keep up with their peers and when they come to me I try to find ways to not only teach them, but to get them excited about learning something that has been so difficult in the past.
