My students deserve a fun and inviting 21st century learning environment! My 5th and 6th graders are active learners who thrive on movement and opportunities to show their independence when choosing their work space and supplies. My students thrive on hands-on, active, engaging projects and challenges that allow them to think outside the box to find solutions in an all inclusive learning environment! Having developmentally appropriate supplies on hand for students to complete tasks is vital to their success. The gift cards to the TPT site will allow me to purchase supporting materials for my lessons. These materials are things I can use each year with a one time purchase. The flex seating options will offer my students the best learning environment for their own special unique learning needs. With these choices my students will be able to work independently as well as in collaboration with their peers. Having appropriate storage and organization in a classroom is important on so many levels. It allows me as the teacher to have all things ready and available for teaching, as well as allow the students to know where things are. Providing a safe, organized, and functional learning space benefits everyone in the room. The educational games I have requested will provide fun learning opportunities for students in either a whole group, small group, or even independent setting. For my first year teaching 5th and 6th graders, I am going to have a wide range of abilities and interests. I have always dreamed of creating a learning space for my students that is comfortable, engaging, and inclusive.
