My students have access to our district supplied Chromebooks for learning via "games" on the computer, but they also need hands on, screen free learning activities as well. Providing them a variety of center activities they can do together and help each other with will give them the social and interpersonal skills that the pandemic restrictions have put them behind on as well as reinforcing the standards we go over during our whole group learning time. Some of the standards that will be reinforced during these activities are RFK2a: Recognize & produce rhyming words, RFK: Know and apply grade-level phonics and word analysis skills in decoding words, RFKD: Recognize & name all upper and lowercase letters of the alphabets, K.CC.4a/K.CC.4B/K.OA.A.3: Know number names and the count sequence, count to tell the number of objects and comparing numbers.
