My students will use the Dell Chromebooks with the Google Management Console licenses, mice and headphones to create writing projects, enhancing their ability to communicate in the current world culture. It will give them a head-start toward their required technology usage in upper primary grades, middle school, and high school. We will create Google Slide research reports and presentations. These will be the first independent research reports that our students have ever done, and many of them need extra screen time to continue their work away from the computer lab and in the classroom. My students who require reading and/or math intervention will access activities for practice and remediation, working both with me and working independently. Many students are engaged by using the computer, which helps them feel excited about all areas of the curriculum.
