My students best learn through hands on activities that I provide them. Our energy unit can be a hard concept to grasp for middle schoolers. Giving my students access to materials they can directly apply concepts we've already talked about in class greatly impacts their understanding.
It is so important to allow students to fall in love with science at an early age! I believe creating as many activities as possible where students can interact with their learning can lead to creating life long learners. My hope for my classroom is to create fun experiments where students are challenged to problem solve and work together to learn!
These materials will allow students to have hands-on labs with the snap circuits and electromagnets as we study electricity. My students also love collaborating to solve problems and using the requested lap white boards to show off their answers. Glue, pencils, and index cards are materials my students use daily as we keep our Interactive Science Notebook up to date! Your donations will go straight towards getting these supplies in the hands of my students! Thank you in advance!
