I am a special education teacher to middle and high school students. I teach in what is unfortunately one of the poorest congressional districts in the United States. The student population is majority high need, with a considerable percentage arriving at least one grade level behind in reading and math. Despite these challenges, I truly believe that my students have a large amount of potential. I will continue to work hard to ensure that this potential is nurtured and maximized.
