Technology has evolved into a dynamic and effective teaching tool in our classrooms. As a teacher in an inclusion classroom with a variety of special education students I try to utilize technology to best enhance my students learning as well as keeping them engaged. My students use the technology in our classroom to practice their math and spelling skills, listen to stories, watch educational videos, and play educational games. A class set of headphones will allow my students to engage in these activities without being a distraction to others. The majority of my students have one or more diagnoses that effect their focus and concentration. Headphones will help my students stay focused and engaged.
