My students are bold, active and eager learners with various learning disabilities. Using technology will help them grasp content faster once it is presented in multi-sensory ways. This will also boost their computer skills that they can use in the future. There are not enough updated, working computers in my classroom to do this. Using these Chromebooks will help my students be independent learners will still reaching them through different methods. They use the computers to complete state assessments, classroom fluency practice, typing skills, online reading and math programs such as Freckle and Teach Your Monster to Read. It is interactive and students have shown improvements using these programs.
