A new rug for our classroom will make a major difference by creating smooth transitions in our classroom procedures. Students will be able to sit in organized color coded squares to help keep track of their progress as well as be categorized by teams to enjoy fun music games. Students get a chance to bond with peers and feel a sense of community by engaging in collaborative learning activities. Students will also be able to play recorders on the rug and view the Promethean board before they break off into small groups and sit at the tables. I find that many students enjoy having color coded teams. Thank you in advance for all donations that will help us to fund our project.
