I teach visual art to 384 scholars in grades K- 5 in a high-needs elementary school in Prospect Heights Brooklyn. Each homeroom class receives one to two 45 minute period of visual art a week. My school is co-located and the art room is shared between the two schools. I teach in the art room only on Tuesdays and Fridays. Mondays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays I push into the classrooms and teach art from a cart.
