I work with middle school special education students with emotional disabilities. Covid 19 has had a huge impact on my students learning and also my teaching abilities. Virtual learning has been a major adjustment for all of us. An extra monitor would help with making transitions on the computer faster, while I monitor students on another screen. It will decrease wait-time and increase student engagement while also minimizing negative behaviors. Students become dis-engaged and start displaying negative behaviors when I take lengths of time to navigate everything on one computer screen.
