Thank you for being part of my project! The supplies I am requesting are to set up a functional classroom so that my students can feel safe and comfortable in an organized space throughout the year. To teach financial literacy, my students apply for jobs and need to grow their knowledge with the right materials. The pencil sharpener, stapler, dry erase board cleaner, Clorox wipes, and organizational tools align with their classroom jobs. They get paid once a month with our classroom economy money and always feel successful when they know exactly what to do. By donating to this project; you will help my students learn financial literacy, continue to grow their problem solving skills with STEAM challenges, and encourage organization to promote a safe space. The dry erase board kits will be used during math so that students can collaborate and use various direct modeling methods to teach their partners strategies all while applying a growth mindset. The headphones will be used during literacy, math, and science to help my audio learners feel successful. Lastly, the tape, post-it notes, and notecards will be used during STEAM challenges throughout the year to help promote problem solving while having fun. The donations to this project will help my students immensely. My students deserve basic school supplies so that they can be successful no matter their background. My 2nd graders and I are grateful no matter the size of your donation. Thank you for being part of my class project!
