My students are primarily from low income families. Few have opportunities to engage in real world, Science, Technology and Engineering related experience. I want to open doors for my students into these areas. I believe that my students have the creativity to successfully engage in careers related to these areas, if they are only given the opportunity to explore their talents. I have seen my students do wonderful things with the tools that we already have in our classroom, but there are simply not enough resources to go around.
