Change happens daily right in front of our eyes. The world of technology is probably the fastest changing thing my students observe and it is definitely the most interesting to them. Their attention is instantly captured when you present learning opportunities with anything other than a textbook. My students are the most curious children I have ever met. They are smart and so excited about learning.! I try to teach them the importance of discovery based learning and give them the opportunities to find things out on their own as much as possible. They enjoy the challenges they are faced with and strive to expand their knowledge. Our school is in a rural area and has a 85% free/reduced lunch status. Most of the students live in low income homes and have the bare essentials they need for learning.
