These items will enhance and foster the learning experience for my students with special needs. To have set of Chromebooks specifically assigned to our classroom allows them to engage in activities and lessons with the use of technology more consistently. Often times, my students are not provided the opportunity to engage with technology, as the equipment is usually given to the students in the general education classes first. Each year I have students in grades Kindergarten through 5th grade. The range of grades and ability levels makes it difficult to get materials that will benefit all of my students. The items I have requested will assist with classroom management, meeting their sensory needs, help my students grasp concepts quicker and assist with generalization of skills with the aid of the hands-on materials.
