My students have shown resilience and flexibility throughout distance learning. However, I want to give them the learning environment they deserve upon their return to school. I'm a new speech-language pathologist at a title one elementary school, so I'm beginning my resource collection from scratch. I have a few outdated articulation books and flash cards, but I have very few additional supplies. Students learn language best when they are active and engaged. Over the past year my students have done the best they can while learning communication strategies through a screen. That's why, I'm hoping to reward my kids for their efforts with a rich and colorful therapy environment in which to play and grow.
