This year I will be responsible for teaching students who are working toward, meeting, and exceeding grade level standards--all at the same time, in any given class, on any given day. In order to properly target varying academic needs at the same time, I must provide appropriate materials based on the individual student. Sometimes students require real-time adjustments from what I have planned for them--in those moments, I require the flexibility of a classroom printer. Having a classroom printer will also allow me to ensure materials are always prepared when students enter my room, regardless of any school-wide technical malfunctions. For copiers are such fickle creatures....
