I've recently found some really neat education websites! I've recently spent a lot of my money on these websites so that my students can access them. We are using sites such as tenmarks lexia, scholastic, and zearn on a daily basis in 2nd grade. Using these sites has shown an increase in my students performances on their weekly spelling and vocabulary tests as well as an increase in their math fluency skills! The chromebooks will allow the students to have all day access to these sites. The sites are great and the kids are really into them. Currently, we have 3 desk top computers. With your help, my students will be able to grab a chromebook and get right to practicing, without having to wait for our designated cart time.
