My students are to create visual representations of structures related to biology though posters, foldables, and many other arts and craft ideas. However in my class I only have 10 scissors, one pack of colored pencils, and one pack of colored markers to go around a total of 40 students each period. I feel awful that my kids cannot finish the task given to them and fail to gain the understanding of the lesson. I’m passionate about my kids being able to learn science through their creativity and have work to be proud of and show off to their peers. We are requesting scissors and markers so that we can more effectively create these visual representations of biology structures.
